Kiddie-Sex Tapes Land Teacher in Slammer

OITA — An elementary school teacher who videotaped sordid sex scenes with a teen-ager and then sold the tapes to a pedophile network was arrested Wednesday, police said.

Shigeru Miki, 46, the teacher from Usuki, Oita Prefecture, was incarcerated for breaking the Child Welfare Law after he allegedly sold videos of him and a 14-year-old boy having sex in his car.

Police said that during August and December last year, Miki took the boy he had met at a video game center, and paid him 3,000 yen to have sex with him in his car. Miki videotaped the sessions and later sold the tapes to a pedophile network.

Miki may also face charges for breaking the law forbidding child prostitution and child pornography.
